The Bank then known and addressed as Coal Camp Community Bank Ltd was registered in 1995 and started business on 25th day of March, 1995 under the then Chairmanship of Mr Damian Ozoani. Mr Uzoma who was the Pioneer Manager of the Bank started with a provisional license issued on 26th January, 1995, by the defunct National Board for Community Banks (NBCB).
Four other persons have run the Bank before the incumbent Managing Director

ii) Mr Nicholas Onah 1996
iii) Mr Jackson Eziallor 1997 to 2002
iv) Mr N. Mmereole 2003 to 2007
v) Mr Ben Onuorah 2007 to 2011
v) Mr Ben Onuora 2007 to 2010
vi) Mrs Nkechi Okeke 2012 to date.
It was during the tenure of Mr Ben Onuora that the conversion from a community bank to a micro finance bank occurred in the year 2007.
The present Managing Director, Mrs Nkechi Okeke took office in acting capacity from Mr Ben Onuora in August, 2011 and was confirmed in 2012. Within these periods, the Bank has grown in leaps and bounds and has received various transformations and modifications to attain the present position as a leading micro finance bank in Enugu State. The Bank is expected to transform into a State Micro Finance in the next 12 months.
